Started by Tracy, Chris, and Kylie, TWCS was founded on the idea of taking traditional grilled cheese and mac-n-cheese recipes to new heights. Combining your favorite comfort food, cheese, with a variety of options to please every palate.
That’s What Cheese Said offers a relaxed dining experience that makes it easy for families and friends to enjoy delicious food together.
East Lansing is our first location, and we are excited to be a part of the Michigan State Community.

TWCS is a cheese-lover’s dream! Everyone who is fond of cheese will love a Gourmet Grilled Cheese sandwich or bowl of Mac-n-Cheese. At “That’s What Cheese Said” our goal is to provide cheese lovers the cheese they crave!
One way we do this is by offering plenty of cheese choices. We have over 9 different cheese options for our grilled cheese sandwiches and over 15 other ingredients options that you can add to your mac-n-cheese, grilled cheese sandwich, or potato skins.
